储（chǔ）子（zǐ）曰（yuē）：（）“（）王（wáng）使（shǐ）人（rén）瞷（jiàn）夫（fū）子（zǐ），（）果（guǒ）有（yǒu）以（yǐ）异（yì）于（yú）人（rén）乎（hū）？（）”（）孟（mèng）子（zǐ）曰（yuē）：（）“（）何（hé）以（yǐ）异（yì）于（yú）人（rén）哉（zāi）？（）尧（yáo）、（）舜（shùn）与（yǔ）人（rén）同（tóng）耳（ěr）。（）”（）

Chu Zi asked, “The king sent someone to observe you secretly. Is there truly anything about you that differs from other people?” Mencius replied, “How should I differ from others? Yao and Shun were human beings just like everyone else.”
