The Sense of Shame

孟（mèng）子（zǐ）曰（yuē）：（）“（）人（rén）不（bù）可（kě）以（yǐ）无（wú）耻（chǐ）。（）无（wú）耻（chǐ）之（zhī）耻（chǐ），（）无（wú）耻（chǐ）矣（yǐ）。（）”（）

Mencius said, “A person cannot be without a sense of shame. To feel ashamed of having no shame is to be free of shameful conduct.”
